The Stone Korok will also show you where his friend is, namely across the gap in the distance. You should be able to see some smoke coming from the Korok friends’ camp.

Now your goal is to help the little guy get to the camp.

How to help the Great Sky Island Stone Korok reach his friend

In order to help the stone-stuck Korok of the Great Sky Island, it is imperative to complete the Ukouh Shrine and unlock the Ultrahand ability. Otherwise you will not be able to build the contraption needed to bridge the gap.

In other words, if you rush through the game and get to this area early, you won’t be able to help the Stone Korok.

So focus on the Ukouh Shrine, which we have explained in detail here, and then return to the Korok.

Now, using the Ultrahand ability, look around the rock that the Korok is on and spot some tree trunks. If you can’t find any, feel free to chop down some trees. Check out ours Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Here is a logging guide if you need help cutting down trees.

After you have three logs, use the Ultrahand ability and glue them together to get a plank. Next, look for a metal hook near the stone where the Korok is waiting. Attach the hook to the board you created using the Ultrahand ability.

You should be able to get a hanging cart like the one pictured below.

After building the Hanging Wagon, go to the stone and use the Ultrahand ability to pull up the stuck Korok, transport it to the Hanging Wagon and attach it to it.

That way the Korok won’t fall off on the next ride.

Finally, use the Ultrahand ability again to hang the cart on the nearby railing. Make sure that the hook is on the rail.

Once you let go of the hanging cart, jump on it and it will take you to the other side of the gap. Now you want to use Link’s Ultrahand ability again to detach the Korok from the game board and transport it to the nearby camp.
