Rambler’s Reach Outpost is the hub in Star Wars Jedi Survivor and a place where Cal spends a lot of time during his adventure, mostly because he has to return to the Koboh planet after each chapter.
As a hub area Star Wars Jedi Survivor Rambler’s Reach Outpost features many collectibles including seven treasures, six database entries and ten seedpods to name a few.
Of the 37 collectibles you need to find in Rambler’s Reach Outpost, ten are chests that contain various customization items.
Like other collectibles, some chests cannot be tackled early in the game as they require certain skills like Dash. After completing the story, however, you are free to roam and return to the Rambler’s Reach outpost whenever you wish.
Say you want to get your hands on all the chests in the Rambler’s Outpost area Star Wars Jedi SurvivorIn the guide below we will tell you where to look for it, because even if you get the chest card upgrade, some of these collectibles are locked behind puzzles that you have to solve.
Koboh Rambler’s Reach Outpost Chests Locations Map
The map below marks the locations of all the Rambler’s Outpost chests you need to find in the hub area of the video game developed by Respawn Entertainment, and as you can see there are several collectibles hidden in buildings.

The doors of these buildings are locked, and to open them you need to solve a series of puzzles or complete side activities like rumors.
Luckily, our Rambler’s Reach Outpost Chests locations guide has all the information you need on how to get to these collectibles. In the same order as on the map above, here’s where to find the ten chests in the Rambler’s Reach outpost.
Chest #1 (Duelist’s Jacket): In the house behind Gulu and Gido
The first chest on the map above is in a side room of a locked house. In front of the door you will meet two NPCs named Gulu and Gido. While these two NPCs won’t open the house for you, you’ll need to find a third one.
His name is T-1N8 and he is a droid being held hostage in the Phon’Qi Caverns. So to get to the chest, you must first find the Phon’Qi Caverns. If you need help getting there, check out our chest map upgrade location guide here, as you’ll also find the upgrade needed to see all chests on your holomap in the same area.
After entering the Phon’Qi Caverns you will see T-1N8 in the first room and he will ask you to take care of the Bedlam Raiders. After defeating the three bosses in the caves you will have to talk to him again and he will move to the Rambler’s Reach outpost, in front of the house where the chest is found.
If you talk to him one last time, he will open the door for you and grant you access to the first chest in our guide.

Chest #2 (Metal BD-1 Unique Material): Inside the Stables
The second chest on our map above requires you to learn how to tame mounts and the Force Lift/Slam ability.
The Rambler’s Reach Outpost Stables Chest is obtained using a mount by riding behind the stable and then double jumping to reach the top window. Pull yourself up from there; then Fore Lift the trapdoor on the left.
Drop down to the area below and collect the chest, but note that there are also two treasure collectibles waiting for you in the stable. One of them (Stables Secret Treasure) is probably the trickiest collectible in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

Chest #3 (Rebel Paint BD-1 Material): Behind the Garden Tower
The third Star Wars Jedi Survivor More easily accessible, Rambler’s Outpost Chest is located on the plateau behind the large tower near Pilis Garden.
In order to unlock the garden you need to advance the story, get to the Blustery Mesa area on Jedha and recruit Pili (as explained here).
Then you can get to the roof of Pyloon’s Saloon and climb the vines of the tower. Drop from the roof onto the lower plateau and pick up and smash the crate pictured below.

Chest #4 (Bomber Pants): Below the Mantis Landing Pad
From the previous location, go to the Mantis Landing Pad, but instead of following the ramp towards Mantis, check the area below.
You should be able to see several gates that you can force. Behind the second one on the left you will find the fourth chest to collect on our map above.

Chest #5 (Edgehawk Pommel): In a cave on the upper plateau
For the fifth Star Wars Jedi Survivor Chest on our Rambler’s Reach Outpost map above, you should head back to the tower on Pyloon’s Saloon, where you should also find one of the two Force Tears.
On the plateau in the distance you should see a cave (see image below) and in front of it another crate to force and smash. A few steps behind the chest is one of the six database scans.
To get to the plateau, jump off the roof and use the Dash ability.

Chest #6 (Arakyd Heavy Barrel): On a plateau near Hunter’s Quarry Border
The sixth chest is also on a plateau, but it’s easier to get to as all you have to do is use the grappling point under some wall vines.
Climb the vines and you’ll see the Cylinder, which you can violently lift and smash to get the Arakyd Heavy Barrel.

Chest #7 (tactical shirt): On the roof of Doma’s shop
Once you’ve secured the previous chest, stay on the plateau and check the roofs of the buildings in the settlement.
At the top of Doma’s Shop you’ll see the seventh chest, which is fairly accessible. To get there, look for the orange building behind the store and use the crate on the ground to reach the roof. Now jump to the chest and collect the Tactical Shirt.

Chest #8 (Stim Pack): Inside Doma’s shop
In the eighth spot marked on our map above, you’ll find Doma’s Shop Chest, which is a bit trickier as it requires other collectibles.
The Star Wars Jedi Survivor Doma’s Shop Chest is in a room that you must open with the mysterious key code that you can buy from Doma for 10 Priorite Shards.
The Priorite Shards are treasures scattered across Koboh. If you’re looking to get your hands on ten quickly, check out our wiki guides covering all areas of the game here. Alternatively, you can also choose to find the Treasure Map upgrade in detail in this guide.
Once you have 10 shards, buy Doma’s Mysterious keycode and ask BD-1 to cut up the terminal in their shop. In the locked room you will find the chest pictured below.

Chest #9 (Swoop Blaster): Inside a locked shop
The ninth chest on our map allows you to unlock the Star Wars Jedi Survivor Swoop Blaster but to get it; You need to complete a rumor and unlock the Electro Dart for BD-1.
While the Electro Dart is unlocked via story progression, the rumor is a side activity that you must complete by visiting the area known as the Bygone Settlement.
The past settlement is a Jawa territory and your goal is to get to the top of the structure where the Jawas will be attacked by Bedlam Raiders. After you rescue them, they move to the Rambler’s Reach outpost in the house near the house you want to access.
While standing outside, look in the corner of the building for a fuse that you can activate with the Electro Arrow. Aim at it and the door should open.
Remember that without Jawa said fuse is covered by panels and the cable on the roof must be connected to the panel of the house.
If you go to the roof of the building with the chest and move the cable to the panel of the Jawa house, you can get to another building where you can find one of the essences.

Chest #10 (Seed Pods Map Upgrade): On the roof of Pyloon’s Saloon
The final chest in the Rambler’s Reach outpost area SW Jedi Survivor is not a chest per se, but a terminal that you need to cut open.
The terminal in question will unlock the Seed Pods Map Upgrade, which we have already explained. In order to access it, you need to increase your garden by planting the seed pods you collect in Pili’s Garden on Pyloon’s Saloon.
