Where to find the Tears of Gatakis Kingdom shrine
The Gatakis Shrine is located in the lower part of Rito Village in the Hebra Mountains, in the western part.
To reach Rito Village, approach from the east and head toward the Lucky Clover Gazette.
Throw a Hylian Pinecone at the campfire near the collapsed bridge to create an updraft. These Hylian pinecones are around the trees near the Lucky Clover Gazette. You can also cut down the trees for a chance to get a Hylian Pinecone.
Then you can use the updraft to glide over the gap with your paraglider and reach the Rito village.
How to solve The Legend Of Zelda Gatakis Shrine puzzle
After entering the Gatakis Shrine, use your paraglider to cross the chasm to the next area below. Also note the strong wind.
To do this, jump off the edge by pressing (x)and then tap (x) again to activate the paraglider.
In the next section of the Gatakis Shrine puzzle, watch out for the lasers. When you activate the paraglider, the gust of wind propels you forward without a drop.
To avoid the lasers, go through the larger gap on the right as marked in the image below, then turn left to land safely. Make sure you jump off the edge before activating the paraglider.
In the next section there is a large hole with a rotating mechanism. To pass it successfully, you need to properly plan your descent, taking into account the updraft.
Use your paraglider every now and then and tap and lower to level yourself.
Be careful as landing on the surface of the rotating mechanism can cause fall damage if you don’t slide between them, but landing on it is safe.
After going through the spinning mechanism, spread your arms and wait to get onto the ice below.
Now jump on the ice a few times to break it and dive into the next area.
On the highest platform in this area you’ll find a Construct Soldier guarding a treasure chest with a Strong construct bow. Land on the platform and defeat him first to easily open the chest.
Below and between the two platforms of Construct Soldiers is a gap in the metal paneled wall that serves as an exit.
You have the option of either going this route without killing them, or disassembling them into individual parts first. Remember that you can knock them off the edge and lose all the falling pieces in the process.
After going through the gap, the updraft will take you straight to the altar. Interact with the Green Seal to complete the Gatakis Shrine Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and to receive yours light of blessing.
