Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom The Archaic Armor Set consists of three pieces and is the first set that you can obtain when entering the Great Sky Island area in the video game developed by Nintendo.
The Zelda ToTK The Archaic Armor Set comes in very handy when you want to explore the snowy mountain of Great Sky Island without fear of Link freezing to death and without having to cook meals to avoid the cold.
Basically, the archaic set in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom allows you to explore the snowy area of southern Great Sky Island at your own pace.

Where to find the archaic legwear in Zelda ToTK
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Archaic Legwear is relatively easy to find as it’s in the first chest you open in-game.
Said chest is in the Room of Awakening, which you’ll explore in the game’s prologue.
Just before you head outside, you should see the chest on the left side of the door.
It’s worth noting that if you missed it during the prologue, you can still get the archaic legwear for Link while working on completing the fourth shrine (Nachoyah Shrine) as you return to the Room of Awakening, once you unlock the fast travel option.
Where to find Link’s Archaic Tunic in Tears Of The Kingdom
Tears of the Kingdom The Archaic Tunic is also fairly easy to spot since the chest containing this piece of armor is near the path you need to take on your way to the third Great Sky Island Shrine (Gutanbac Shrine).
The chest is in Pondside Cave on the south side of the island. If you enter Pondside Cave and move west to east, you’ll find them near the cave exit.
The chest is in a small bulge. If you see a wall, you can quickly destroy it with a blunt weapon.
How to get the Archaic Warm Greaves from Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom
Last but not least, to complete the armor set you will need the Warm Greaves, which you can find near the fourth shrine to complete in the Great Sky Island.
Once you exit Nachoyah Shrine, you will see a large hollow tree nearby.
Use Link’s climb ability to get to the ledge formed by the tree trunk, then check the small cave in the tree (marked above).
On the right is the chest with the last piece of Archaic Armor, which you should equip right away. After getting the archaic warm greaves, you should also check the top of the tree if you want to solve the stone circle puzzle.
