How to start the Death of the Party side quest in Dead Island 2

After leaving Emma’s apartment during the Call in the cavalry Main task to tell the authorities that you are immune, you hear a call for help from an intercom near a house entrance on Alpine Drive.

After you talk to Curtis he will open the gate for you. Follow the path up to reach the garage with lots of zombies to deal with.

Then follow the quest marker to Curtis’ front door with zombies nearby and kill them all. When you’re done, talk to him who’s on the mansion’s balcony.

How to restore power to Curtis’ residence

After talking to Curtis, turn left, go to the back left corner of the gardens and go down the stairs to reach a small engineering room where you need to restore power.

As soon as you open the door, a zombie will ambush you, so be prepared.

After killing it, enter the room and aim for the blue pipe near the cut electrical wire by pressing /, and throw a weapon by pressing / to break the pipe and restore power.

Alternatively, you can take the water canister outside the engineering room and pour water between the two power cables to restore power.

Return to Curtis who is on the balcony and report your success. After talking to Curtis, go left to the back of the residence and enter through the back door while killing any zombies you see.

Once inside, Curtis will tell you from a broken staircase how he plans to use his stairlift to get down. Then press the switch nearby to turn on the stairlift.

While waiting for Curtis to reach down the stairs, defeat any incoming waves of zombies.

Once he has finished the stairlift ride and reached the bottom, Curtis will lead you into the living room.

After he sits in the chair, talk to him to end the process The death of the party side quest one dead island 2 and to receive the Curtis’s House Keys and Lightweight Golf Club as a reward for your help.
