The developers of Apex Legends Mobile, Respawn Entertainment, have announced that the game’s third season, titled Hyperbeat, will be launching on Tuesday, August 23, alongside a new playable character and other content.
With the start of the new season, players will be able to take control of Crypto, the hacker who is accompanied by a drone and first appeared in the PC and console versions of Apex Legends. The user’s capabilities on mobile remain the same as those on other platforms; however, his drone has been updated to monitor Crypto and “routinely song nearby enemies for intervals of time,” as stated in the official patch notes.
